𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟯: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲?

In part 2 I described Christophe's shift from "Doing a presentation in English" to truly expressing himself.

In helping him communicate more confidently and convincingly in English, we did NOT start with grammar!

We started with his presentations—and built from there.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

1️⃣ 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 & 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆

 • We reviewed his presentations in detail—spotting parts where meaning was unclear or diluted. 

 • We corrected errors, but more importantly, we restructured the speech for greater clarity, precision, and energy.

2️⃣ 𝗣𝗵𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁

 • We explored alternative vocabulary—more positive, more precise, more personal—so his message would resonate emotionally, not just factually.

3️⃣ 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

 • We looked at how to reorder information—both on the slides and in his speech—giving key points more emphasis and impact to guide the audience.

4️⃣ 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 

We created a system that worked for him.

The goal? To embed these shifts naturally—use the new language and techniques without overthinking.

•  Simple study cards

•  Regular reviews

My 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳 system isn’t about “fixing” someone’s speech.

It’s about helping people express themselves authentically and effectively, so they can move others and make a difference.

That’s exactly what Christophe is doing!

Every multilingual learner has their own mix of challenges and strengths, but with motivation, time, and effort, they can find their English voice.

The journey doesn’t have to be a struggle. With the right support, learners move forward much faster — and enjoy it, discovering practical tools and useful language insights along the way.
